Present: Earl Romnes , Phil Lippo, Al Rinta, Mel Johnson, Jerry Stone, Dean Tegland, Mike Freiberg, Harold & Shirley Dallman, Pete Seelen, Roger Olson, Jim Gassert and Rita Butterfield.

Motion by Mike second by Al to approve minutes of September 3. Carried.

Motion by Jerry second by Earl to approve treasurer’s report. Carried.

Old Business:

- Discussion on grant funding and reimbursements.

- Dale Sandberg has taken care of the stretch of trail in the Coffee Lake to Airport area.

- Coffee Lake Creek bridge is almost finished. Thank you letters will be mailed to Moose Lake Power Co for the donation and setting of poles; to Joe Alberio, DNR, for the planking on the bridge; and Moose Lake City crew for dumping the loads of gravel to eliminate vehicle access on one of the roads into Soo Pit.

- Pine County Road issue - is moving along. We want to look at that issue as well, accessing the Soo Line from various locations-Co 1 to Nemadji, Barnum to Soo Line, and Cromwell area to FDL forest.

- Harold recently responded to a notice from ATVAM on getting input regarding new rules/regulations for State Forests. Harold will write another letter of support from the club, to allow ATV access to/from campgrounds.

- 70-Mile Trail - Frank gave update. Trail in Lawler area is finished and will be toured on Oct 6 prior to the next meeting. Meet Lawler at 2:30pm. The tour ride and meeting at 6:00 in open to the public.

- Moose Lake City Maps - Available now. See Rita or Jim.

- ATV Alliance - Has not met for a long time. Frank to schedule sometime in spring.

- Soo Pit - new trails have not been flagged yet, no work done.

- DNR will grade Soo Line between the two trestles north of Moose Lake.

- Trees down on trails after heavy winds - Jerry, Mike and Dean have taken care of them.

- Wrenshall training - Had 10 kids, went well. Total kids to date this year - 121.

New Business:

- Silver Bay - Trail ride October 24 - ATVAM.

- Web site - Motion by Phil second by Pete to pay $250 to Northwoods-Exposure.com for our web site.

Tarey continues to post minutes, announcement, etc., when we get the info to him.

- Christmas Party - January 9 2010 at Cromwell.

- Next meeting at Cromwell, November 5 2009
