Old Business -

- Outhouses - We have 3. One will be placed near Co Rd 1 in the Wrenshall area, 1 in Automba area and one ready for Soo Pit. Roger Forse made a pad in Soo Pit for the picnic tables. Darwin and Jerry will drill holes for guard posts near tables and outhouse.
- 50/50 tickets are selling well. Started with 1000, have only about 150 left. May not be able to get more for the County Fair. Sell what we have.
- Lenny showed us the banner, approx 10' long. Looks nice. Will add to our space at the Fair.
- 70 mile trail - Nothing new to add.
- Jackets - See Pete. Individuals ordering will pay full cost up front. Someone suggested we have “points” members can earn to apply to the price. Will discuss further. Orders won’t go in yet for a while.
- Vests - See Orv if you want a vest.
- Stenciled arrows on pavement wearing off. Dean and Orv will re-paint.
- Youth training - Mel reported 16 at Barnum, 16 and Tamarack. McGrath cancelled June 2 as not enough interest. Also reported on the ATV pull at Aitkin. It was the first attempt at this, did not turn out as well as anticipated. Will have again in conjunction with County Fair.
- Information packet - Franklin suggested we put together some sort of info packet for the youth taking the training course, plus club membership information for parents. Perhaps our Club can sponsor lunch at Barnum.
- Work logs - keep your work logs up to date and turn in to Jim to be billed against the grant. Be specific most everything is chargeable, chainsaw, ATV, man hours. Etc.
- Spring ride on Turnock Loop Trail - Met at Kettle River and rode to Lawler. Looks good. Aitkin Co is talking about adding another loop.

New Business -

- Culverts - Tony K doesn’t want anything for doing the work of installing, etc. Motion by Dick to pay him $750 to cover cost of backhoe and fuel, plus he hired someone to help, Second by Frank. Carried.
- Frank suggested we write thank you letters to Tony Kangas, Jerry Farley and Jeff Butler for their time and work on the trail.
- Will write a letter to Aitkin Co Hwy Engineer, John Welle, regarding signs and using the right sign of road going through town.
