Meeting Minutes
Gamper's Supper Club - Moose Lake
August 2, 2007
7:00 p.m.

Present: Lenny Kroska, Jerry Graham, Leo Dahlberg, Harvey Ukura, Dick Huhta, Stan & Judy Davis, Dean Tegland, Pete Seelen, Jim Gassert, Mel Johnson, Al Rinta, Earl Romnes, Frank Turnock, Jack Koolmo, Roger Olson, Mike Freiberg and Rita Butterfield.

No new members or guests.

Minutes of July 12 read. Corrected to list Dean Tegland painting directional arrows with help from Jerry and his grandson. Motion by Jerry, second by Leo to approve as corrected. Carried.

Motion by Dick, second by Leo to approve. Carried

Old Business -

- Pumping outhouses - Tony K will take care of two, but will not go east to Hwy 1. Jim will check further. Jerry and Mike leveled up around the Hwy 1 site.

- Trails - Aitkin Soo Line was graded last week. Bills from Warren P indicate grading from Pine Co to Lawler and east to WI line. Bill submitted for $1800. Motion by Dick, second by Earl to pay. Carried. Discussed number of times to grade during the summer months, motion by Dick, second by Jerry to grade April, June, August and October. Carried. Grading late in the season will leave the trail in fair condition for the snowmobiles. Jerry reported DNR graded between the two trestles.

- 50/50 Tickets - Have only 300 tickets to sell at the County Fair and whatever is left of a few books still out. Need to get stubs and money to ATVAM soon after the fair. Had total of 1300 this year.

- 70 mile trail - Per Frank, no meetings are scheduled yet.

- Joe Russell - phone call, concerned about Class 2 ATVs on the trail and in the Soo Pit. Following discussion, no concerns. Motion by Mel, second by Leo to allow Class 2 ATVs in the Pit. Carried.

- Reminder to turn in work logs. Frank has all signs up on the Loop. Need two ATV 20 mph signs coming out of Lawler.
Jerry suggested we could contact the Senior High School Class regarding cleaning the trails. Curt Yort is the contact person if we are interested.

- Jackets - Discussion. Next meeting we will establish a list of members wishing to order. Motion by Frank second by Lenny to go with the jackets Pete showed a couple months ago.
New Business:

- Thank you from City of Cromwell and Cromwell Development for the contribution toward two (2) table/chair units.

- Youth Training in Finlayson in September. White Pine Riders having training August 4. Nothing scheduled at this time for Barnum.

- Update on Aitkin Co Posse from Frank. Stated they recently had an all-day training.

- Roger invited club members to a pig roast and ride, sponsored by White Pine Riders, Saturday Aug 11, at Poor Lewey's in McGrath. Ride to Red Top approximately 10, eat about 100.

Next meeting September 6 at Gampers. No further business. Motion by Mel to adjourn. Second by Lenny.
