Gamper's - Moose Lake
September 7, 2006
7:00 p.m.
PRESENT: Darwin & Grace Chester, Kevin Turnock,
Frank Turnock, Lenny Kroska, Orv Evensen, Phil Lippo, Leo Dahlberg,
Mel Johnson, Al Rinta, Earl Romnes and Rita Butterfield
Meeting called to order at 7:10 by vice chair Kevin Turnock.
Minutes of August 3 distributed and read. Morion by Earl second by
Phil to approve. Carried.

Motion by Darwin, second by Leo to approve. Carried.
OLD BUSINESS:
- Fair/Ticket Sales - Darwin reports we sold
950 tickets. He sent a check for $950 to ATVAM, paid out $5.79
to mail ticket stubs. Total dollars short by $5, check to club
in amount of $939.21. Darwin will keep the cash box Next year we
want to get some posters and/or a banner printed which can be used
for parades, county fairs, whatever.
- Report on most recent Alliance meeting. Kevin said there were
representatives from White Pine Riders, Evergreen PAC, and others,
along with Mark Jacobs. Want to pursue the Lawler to Arthyde
trail. The Parks Commission (Aitkin Co) are going to ride this
loop on the 18th.
- McGrath training - 16 kids went through the training.
- McGrath trail - DNR is working on the north end, will turn it
over to White Pine Riders when complete.
- Also work on the trail to connect from Shovel Lake to Cass County.
- Turnock Trail - just about complete, needs the fence moved.
Should be done in about 2 weeks.
- Aitkin Co Posse - Next meeting is 9/20 at Fireside, open to
the public.
- ATVAM Fall Convention - 9/15 -17, Silver Bay. Darwin may attend.
- Trail ride - 9/17 meet at Duquette 10:00am, bring own lunch.
Possible ride lat in the fall at Turnocks. Could plan picnic lunch
or B-B-Q.
No New Business -
Motion by Mel second by Darwin to adjourn. Adjourned.
