Old Business:

Projects - Money in account to take on some new projects. Need to set meeting with the County Engineer, Land Commissioner and club to determine who gets what amount of the remaining grant money for maintenance of trails. Jim will write larger grant this year and put trails and Pit together in one. If anyone has any other ideas, get info for next meeting. Grants need to be in on 11/30/05.

Dead Moose Trail - Maybe this is a project we should take on as a club rather than apply for specific grant funding. Environmental study needs to be done only when applying for grants.

Turnock Trail - need costs. Moose Lake - still need directional signs to trails. Darwin will make a stencil for use in marking pavement.

Mel showed pictures of the trailer the Sno-Flyers have completed for storing ATV training equipment. Nice job and they are to be commended. Mel stated there are about 40 hours into finishing the trailer; however this particular project would not be billable for reimbursement from the club.

ATV Training - no training sessions will be scheduled for the fall. DNR personnel are busy with enforcement issues. Mel, Earl, Al and Rick are all certified instructors.

Trails - Kettle River to Lawler rough, wash-outs near swamps. Have Warren grade. Red Top area bad (Mille Lacs Co).

Web Site - No issues - Have Tarey post ride on announcement board. Tarey had email from a new club from the Farmington area. They wish to ride the Soo Line the weekend of Oct 22-23 and would like to extend invitation to anyone from our club to join them. Tarey will provide them with Jim and Orv’s names for information. Anyone wish to ride is welcome.

Dues - Just a reminder the By-Laws were changed so anyone who has paid dues for this year (2005-2006) is paid up through Dec 2006. If you have not paid your dues yet, please do so.

Hats - Dick has had one quote for approximately $8, will continue checking.

Fall Ride - Sunday, October 9th. Meet at Duquette Store at 11:00am.

Christmas Party - Will be held in Cromwell Pavilion on January 14th. ( No regular meeting in Jan). Each family to bring a $10 gift. Club to purchase a G.P.S. as door prize.

Next meetings Nov 3 and Dec 1 at Cromwell

Motion by Darwin to adjourn, second by Lenny. Carried.
