Guest Mark Jacobs - Land Commissioner, Aitkin County - Talked of meeting with Aitkin Co ATV groups, possibly forming an ATV Alliance, much like the Snowmobile Alliance, which currently meets semi-annually. He told club members  that the Aitkin Co Snowmobile Alliance, at their last meeting, voted to not have year round ATV traffic on the Soo Line through Aitkin Co.   Next Alliance meeting is in April.  Much discussion followed regarding year round use, who would enforce, how much would ATVs actually use the trail when the snow got deep.  Many questions, no answers.  Members should attend the snowmobile alliance meeting. Mark also asked if any of our members would be interested in sitting in with an ATV Alliance.  More on this in the future.

Questions arose regarding the Turnock Trail - Funding?  Legal responsibility for Franklin?  Members still want to pursue this stretch of trail as well as the Dead Moose trail.

Fall Ride - Some participation.  The Nemadji trails had been closed just days before the scheduled ride so we moved it to Denham without much notification.

Trails reported to be in good condition right now.  Have been graded and trouble spots have been fixed

Web Site seems to be going good.

Publicity - We need to get more info out to the public regarding meetings, rides and just general information to the public.  Jack had an idea for a membership drive that will be published in local papers, includes info on the Christmas party.  (Christmas Party scheduled for January 14, 6:00 pm  social hour, 7:00 pm dinner.  Members to bring $10 gift.)

Motion by Phil, second by Jack to pay $307 to Lampert Yards for lumber for bridges.  Carried.

Next meeting December 1 at Cromwell.   Motion by Leo second by Orv to adjourn.  Adjourned 9:10pm.
