Motion by Darwin, second by Jack to approve Treasurer report. Motion carried.

Old Business:
1) Aitkin Co - year round. Aitkin County Commissioners/Park Board want a “local” club to take responsibility for this issue and appears they aren’t interested in working with us. Darwin suggested we write a letter to Aitkin Co, offering to help with signing, etc., a little PR can’t hurt. Dick will continue to seek support for McGregor Chamber Chair. Dick will include a copy of the Aitkin Co letter with his contact.

2) Posse - Lists are ready except for eastern Carlton Co.

3) 50/50 tickets - Thanks to Orv for the hard work he did on this project. All tickets have been turned in to ATVAM along with the checks (1 from the club, 2 from members). A big boost for our treasury.

4) Grant - Mark Holsten is going to follow up on the grant and see where it is. Trails & Waterways will most likely merge with Forestry in the re-organization at the State Level. Jim and others have another meeting coming up with DNR folks (local) in a couple weeks.

5) Trail Repair - Hill City - Orv, Leo and Don went to Hill City last month to help repair a section of the Rabey Trail, in response to the letter we received a couple months ago. Orv reported it went well, about 50 people showed up with equipment and a lot of work was done.

6) ATVAM Fall Convention - Eveleth Sept 12 -14th.

New Business:
1) Trail ride September 20 from Denham Run to Soo Pit and back. Discussion regarding Lenny providing lunch at the end of the ride. Motion by Mary, second by Dick for the Club to pay for the food, beverage, etc. Carried. Check for $50 written to Lenny.
Discussed advertising trail ride as a “Membership Ride”. Lenny to take care of ads. Will be charged, cannot get them into the public info section. Dick will contact News Hopper. (Aitkin Co)

Moose Lake’s WKLK radio station has had something on air regarding Evergreen PAC Club. Rita to contact Jim Ruzic at Cloquet to find out what kind of info they had, where it came from, etc. No one from the club has talked to those folks.

2) Cromwell Mud Bog - Much discussion on this. Would not be held for a year, lots of time to work and prepare for it. Need folks to be committed to the project if we are going to take this on.

Next meeting October 2. Need to discuss meeting locations for upcoming meetings.
Motion by Jack seconded by Lenny to adjourn. Motion carried.
