Rita nominated for secretary/treasurer. Motion by Jerry, seconded by Rita to close nominations. Carried. Motion by Lenny, second by Dave, to re-elect current officers as nominated, Dan for vice chair, Kevin for director. Carried.

2) Aitkin Co: Aitkin County wants a local club to take charge of this project, allowing year round use of ATVs on Soo Line Trail. We are unsure of any club in Aitkin Co wanting to take it over. Next meeting at Long Lake Center is July 21. Want to get more support for this. Dick will talk to McGregor mayor, Jim will contact Reggie Lee , Commissioner, and Don will talk with ?
Bailey. Hopefully more information will be available at our August meeting and we will be able to determine next steps.

3) Grant: Jerry reported on grant. He met with the DNR in mid-June. It is moving slowly. Has been presented to Brainerd and Grand Rapids Offices. Has been accepted on recommendation of Brainerd Ofc. The hydrologist had some concern - it could require anything from an environmental impact statement to re-routing of drainage. Kevin needs to get it on the DNR web site yet for the 30 day public comment process. Jerry commented that Mark Holsten, assistant DNR commissioner, would be a good point person on project. Motion by Jim second by Dave, for Jerry to set up a meeting with Mr. Holsten. Carried.
