1) Secretary Report- The Nov. 7th minutes were read A motion
made by Dick Huhta, seconded by Ron Goodin to accept the minutes.
The Dec. 5th minutes were read, a correction was made to section
c of the old business by deleting the last sentence. A motion
was made to accept the amended minutes by Phil Lippo and Seconded
by Jack Kop. The membership cards are available to those who have
not received them as yet.
2) Treasurer Report- There was no activity this month.

3) Old Business-
a) Logo- A
sample was passed out for the membership to approve. This can
be used for business cards, patches, and vinyl
stickers. A motion was made by Rose Anthony and seconded by Leo
Dahlberg to order business cards and get prices for the
rest of our options for the next meeting.
b) Grant- Kevin
Arends reported that the application looked good and a decision
should be made at the end of January.
c) Co.
Road 46- Kevin Arends suggested that a Grant-In-Aid
application be filled out for this, also signing of the
trail. A request was made for volunteers. Dave Wright, Jim Gassert,
and Kevin Arends will work on this.
d) Newsletter- The
E-Board will put this together and bring it to the next meeting.
All members will receive a
copy in the mail.
e) Trail Signs- Members put 'NoATV' signs where snowmobile
trails go off the Soo Line Trail. Signs are available from the
DNR.
f) Publicity- Len Kroska absent, will be brought to the
next meeting.
g) Pine Co. Soo Line- Kevin Arends hasn't received any
complaints regarding ATV's on the Soo Line in Carlton County. Pine
and Atkin Counties need to be approached with Carlton County as
an example of ATVs and snowmobiles both using the Soo Line with
no problems. Kevin Arends will write a letter regarding the use
of the Soo Line.
4) New Business-
a) Articles of Incorporation- They will be filed in the
next 2 weeks.
b) Meetings- The February, March and April meetings will
be held at the Cromwell Community Center. The next E-Board meeting
is January 30th at Gampers in Moose Lake.
c) Trail Issues- The OHV Task force is made up of 20
members Their final recommendations will be out soon.
Motion made by Dave Wright, seconded by Jack Kop to adjourn at
8:30pm.
